I am a multidisciplinary artist from a small town in the mountains of North Carolina.
I received a BS in Consumer Apparel and Retail Studies from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. I have a concentration in Apparel Product Design and a minor in Business.
Growing up in a state with a rich history of textile manufacturing, I have been obsessed with fabric for as long as I can remember. I began collecting vintage fabric and clothing over 10 years ago. I aim to only use secondhand materials in my artwork.
I have taught myself how to embroider, weave on a hand loom, and macramé. My lifelong love for textile art is what inspired me to attend one of the top fashion schools in the south.
